Haunted Trail - Saucier, MS
Every year, the Success FireFighters put on their Haunted Trail, a winding trail through the woods that takes well over a month to put together with numerous volunteers in preparation for those couple of weeks before Halloween where they get to scare the daylight out of anyone brave enough to walk through.
One of those volunteers, who love scaring others, is my 14 year old stepson. While bringing him down and dropping him off, I got roped in to standing behind a black tarp screeching at unsuspecting victims. While I had lots of fun doing it, I seriously was not dressed for the occasion, wearing a pair of shorts and a tank top, being that it got into the high 50’s, however, I had a blast.
The Haunted Trail in Saucier, MS is a great trail to go on and I will most likely be out there again next Friday and Saturday. I had enough fun that I will be out there next Friday (my birthday) scaring others for a good cause.
